Interrogation: West Bromwich is due to start in September 2010. The project is following on from the success of the Interrogation series that took place in Walsall in 2009. The aim of Interrogation is for artists to quickly investigate and respond to a specific site around a set methodology such as Action Research, Intervention etc. The artists have just one day to carry out a masterclass on their specific working methodology for the day, investigate the site, plan and implement their project, and then bring their findings back to HQ and add them to a wall space which will be used to exhibit and disseminate the findings to the public.

17 artists have been selected to carry out missions in West Bromwich during September 2010 . 4 different artists will work each week on an Interrogation mission. The four Interrogation methodologies and the dates they will take place are:

• INTERЯOGATION: ACTION RESEARCH (08/09/2010)
• INTERЯOGATION: PARTICIPATION (15/09/2010)
• INTERЯOGATION: SITE SPECIFIC (22/09/2010)
• INTERЯOGATION: INTERVENTION (29/09/2010)

Each week a lead mentor will work with the group of artists to guide and support them on their projects. They will provide a masterclass and a tutorial on the working methodology for that week before the artists undertake their missions.

We are excited and also a little apprehensive to how the people of West Bromwich will respond to our project and the artists in their agent uniform, which consists of moustaches and berets. We look forward to the first mission on 8 September.
